Lola, a young, bubbly twenty-seven-year-old educator, has been working for six months in the Stendhal home where she takes care of Zack, an extremely troubled orphan teenager. She has the responsibility to announce to him that the refusal of his young adult contract requires him to leave the premises when he reaches the age of majority. Lola cannot resign herself to this outcome for her protégé knowing that he will celebrate his eighteenth birthday in less than twenty-four hours.
